RDI Receives the Pillar Award for Community Service

January 2023—RDI received the 2023 Pillar Award for Community Service, which recognizes for-profit businesses that invest their time and financial resources in the central Ohio region. This award spotlights service activities that make a tangible difference in people’s lives but that so often go unnoticed—philanthropy, volunteerism, community partnerships, event sponsorship, mentorship programs, and more. 

To further ring in the new year with excellent news, RDI CEO Bronson Trebbi was awarded the Kent Clapp CEO Award, which “recognizes the top executive of a for-profit company for creating a culture of giving.” According to Trebbi, this culture comes from a “serve-first” mindset that begins at the top and focuses on the needs of every stakeholder, both within and outside the organization. “RDI operates with a mission to build strong and diverse communities,” Trebbi says. “We commit each day to humbly serving our employees, clients, and our communities.”

Smart Business’ website recognized Trebbi and the community service efforts of RDI in a recent news article, quoting part of the Meals on Wheels nomination letter: “While RDI has made significant financial and material investments across the city, the effects of their generosity is beyond measure, touching not only the lives of people who are currently in our community but also the generations to come.”

RDI has also worked with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati, Hoxworth Blood Center, March of Dimes, Generation Now, Futures Without Violence, Matthew 25 Ministries, City Gospel Mission, the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital within and beyond the Greater Cincinnati area.
