Celebrate Juneteenth with RDI!
See how each site plans to celebrate Juneteenth next week
Next week, join RDI in celebrating Juneteenth! Each site has a celebration planned for the national holiday, which commemorates the ending of slavery in the US. Learn more about the individual celebrations below.
BLUE ASH: On Monday, bring a plain white T-shirt to tie-dye in Black, Red, Green, and Yellow (Juneteenth Colors). Bring one size up because the shirts shrink after tie-dying! On Tuesday, the Black Professionals Network will cater food during lunch hours for all employees. On Wednesday, enjoy a cookout in celebration of Juneteenth. Burgers and hotdogs will be available to everyone there! There will also be a scavenger hunt with numbered Juneteenth flags hidden around the call center. Bring a flag to your ELLWell manager and receive a prize associated with that number! Not all flags will lead to prizes, so make sure you pick the right one.
HENDERSON: On Wednesday, head to the breakroom for refreshments, trivia, photo booths, and advertisements for local Black-owned businesses.
MILFORD: On Wednesday, enjoy a grill out in the breakroom and wear Juneteenth colors to work.
WACO: On Wednesday, join in on a BBQ, trivia, and Juneteenth-themed games! Agents can also bring family recipes to share with others.

Happy Pride Month, RDI! We can’t wait to celebrate with you through one of the many opportunities below.
Several sites will have Pride Spirit Days in the coming weeks, so check your local ELLWell calendar to see when you should dress up and show off your Pride gear! If you need some Pride merch, check out the RDI-themed Pride beanie, which your ELLWell manager can provide for $10.
You can also speak to your ELLWell manager about parade opportunities, such as the Cincinnati PRIDE Parade on Saturday, June 22, 2024. The Cincinnati Pride Parade will start at approximately 11:00 a.m. Participants are expected to be at our parade location between 10:00 and 10:45 a.m.
More information to come about our location on the parade route, instructions on how to get there, and rules and regulations to follow while participating in the parade. These will be sent to your RDI emails when they are made available.
BOTTOM LINE: We are going to have a BLAST! Friends, kids, and family are welcome! Sorry, no pets are allowed.

RDI Volunteers at Meals on Wheels
See how RDI employees spent the day delivering birthday bags to the elderly in Cincinnati
On Wednesday, several RDI employees teamed up to deliver birthday gift bags to elderly people across Cincinnati through Meals on Wheels. This nationwide network of community-based, non-profit programs is dedicated to providing seniors in their communities with support that enables them to live in their own homes.
RDI’s Tara Kearney coordinated with the Southwest OH/Northern KY Meals on Wheels branch to decorate, fill, and deliver 231 birthday bags to the elderly in the area. Our volunteers spent time visiting with each birthday goer before heading off to the next delivery. Check out the photos above!
Show Your Pride!
See when your site is dressing up in Pride colors for spirit week
Several sites are wearing Pride colors next week for Spirit Week! Henderson already celebrated Pride Spirit Day, but the following sites want to show off their Pride next week!
Blue Ash and Milford will dress in Pride colors on Monday, June 17, while Hermosillo will wear Pride colors on Tuesday, June 18, and Nogales will celebrate Pride on Friday, June 21 (as they’ve done every Friday in June).
