Welcome to our inaugural comic strip series, RDI’s “The Floor!” We know your job as an agent is extremely important (and sometimes tricky to navigate), with customers, supervisors, and external forces all needing to be balanced. We applaud all the hard work you do every day!
Give us feedback below (in the comment box) on what other situations you’d love to see satirized in our comic strip, and if we move forward with it, we’ll be sure to credit you!
This week we celebrate the one, the only Michelle Obama! When she served as First Lady, Obama’s main initiatives were Let’s Move!, Reach Higher, Let Girls Learn, and Joining Forces. Her focus on health, nutrition, gender equality, and educational equity continues to this day. It can be seen in her ongoing work, her continued dedication to “Partnership for a Healthier America” conferences, and her involvement with women’s and gender equality conferences!
Not only was Obama a then- and current influence on America’s political landscape; she also delved into the literary when she released her memoir, “Becoming,” in 2018! Since then, she has continued her dedication to children’s wellbeing as an executive producer and presenter on a children’s cooking show, “Waffles + Mochi,” and released her second book, “The Light We Carry,” late last year! Hats off to Michelle Obama; we can’t wait to see what she’ll create and inspire next!

Hispanics Unidos and BPN debuted their first #GiveBack&GetBack event this January! Agents were invited to donate items for local unhoused populations; depending on the type of item they gifted, they would receive compensation with RDI Hearts! For 5 RDI Hearts they accrued, they could wipe out 1 attendance point…what a DEAL!
Thanks to your ingenuity and generosity, BPN & Hispanics Unidos raised close to $3,000 (👀) and could even collect and buy all necessary additional items to put together 100 bags for the unhoused! These care packages include an entire first aid kit, non-perishable snacks, reusable water bottles, gloves, socks, hats, blankets, and more. BPN & Hispanics Unidos, plus any additional volunteers, will hand these out next Tuesday, February 21st.
If you have the time and want to serve our community through volunteering, please get in touch with Tara Kearney via email. If you’re sad you missed this opportunity; we have great news! Hispanics Unidos & BPN plan on rolling out similar challenges each quarter of 2023!
We say it time and time again: RDI’s strength is our people.
Join us in celebrating this week’s anniversaries, from year 1 all the way to 20+!
