Joi Turner, RDI’s very first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Director, shares her RDI success story. It all began in April 2018 when Kelcie Best, Vice President of East Coast Operations, invited Joi to join RDI’s brand new Learning & Development team.
Joi jumped from strength to strength within Learning & Development and Operations until partnering with senior leadership on RDI’s corporate DEI strategy and RDI IDEAL, our internal diversity leadership council. Joi helped implement diversity and inclusion training into all internal development programs.
Like so many, Joi found RDI to be a fantastic place to seize opportunities and develop skills through the trust that leadership places in all our employees. RDI’s growth and development mindset led to Joi’s most recent career opportunity: Director of DEI strategy at another organization. Congratulations to Joi!
