Nogales Nation Celebrates Independence Day
Nogales celebrated Mexican Independence Day in style! 🇲🇽 This holiday commemorates the “cry of independence” on September 16, 1810, which began a revolutionary uprising against Spanish rule. The celebration starts each year with El Grito de Dolores (Cry of Dolores), in which people all over Mexico shout “¡Viva Mexico!” on the night of September 15.
Last Friday, Nogales Nation went all out! The atmosphere was electric as people wore their finest traditional clothing, participated in fun games, and enjoyed delicious tacos and flautas. The celebration was also a visual delight, with a 360-degree photo booth capturing the spirit of the day through stunning photos and videos.
We’re grateful to have celebrated Mexican Independence Day with our fantastic team, and we can’t wait for more opportunities to come together and honor traditions like these.
