We all have one thing in common: our RDI family! But there are ALSO many talents and passion projects that go unnoticed during the day-to-day bustle and hustle of our sites. Milford and Latonia decided to highlight their employees’ businesses, hobbies, and passions with vendor fairs and chili cook-offs! At these vendor fairs, RDI employees who have side businesses, a hobby craft, or product they sell were able to set up booths in the breakroom where their coworkers could browse and purchase away.
These sales allowed the artists and entrepreneurs among the RDI family to make some extra money for the holiday seasons WHILE giving their coworkers the opportunity to find the perfect gift to give! A portion of the proceeds went to fund the giving trees to help those in need during the holidays 🌲.
Last week, RDI Milford held its very first pickleball night where everyone learned how to play! There were some intense games, so if you’re interested in trying the sport yourself be on the lookout for the next event on social media! All skill levels are welcome, so come have fun with us!
You might have seen pickleball rearing its popularity head recently; however, pickleball was started by a senator in Washington state and a couple of his friends all the way back in 1965! It has now come to RDI by our very own Andy Mitt, Sales and Marketing Specialist. Shoutout to Andy for organizing the event and being a GREAT instructor!
Computers are a normal part of our everyday, both at home and at work! We use them for fun, for information, and to make our tasks easier and more efficient. Technology, especially when mixed with human ingenuity, is constantly pushing the bounds of what is possible. Keep watching for the next innovations to come out of RDI! If you have any big brain moments or ideas, feel free to share them below or with your PM today!
Making a difference in the lives of children is its own reward, but having a great time with new and old friends and family makes it even sweeter! Check out Blue Ash, Milford, and Latonia partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters sponsors and volunteers to compete on the bowling lanes and raise money to support their mission!
The “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” events raised about $40,000 👀 We’re so glad that RDI was able to make such a fantastic IMPACT this holiday season! Thank you to everyone that took part and made it the great success that it was, let’s hope to top this next year!
We say it time and time again: RDI’s strength is our people.
Join us in celebrating this week’s anniversaries, from year 1 all the way to 20+!
