Currently, Ashley is engrossed in the TV series ER. And here’s a bit of trivia: Can you guess how many seasons of ER were created? Stay tuned to find out!

Join us in recognizing Ashley’s outstanding contributions and commitment to both her professional role and our company values.

CELEBRATING BLACK AMERICANS

This month, we’re celebrating and shining a light on three Black Americans who have flown under the radar for far too long. We all know Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks, but there are so many more individuals to honor and celebrate for their contributions to the civil rights movement, art, politics, science, and more. It is important for us to reflect on our nation’s history and recognize the accomplishments of all Americans.

Gil Scott-Heron

Gil Scott-Heron was a New York City–based writer, spoken word performer, poet, and musician whose 1970s songs laid the groundwork for rap music. If you have heard the phrase “The revolution will not be televised,” you have heard the words of Gil Scott-Heron. He has often been called the “godfather of rap,” and rappers like Common and Kendrick Lamar have sampled his music and words. Even if you haven’t heard of him, his work may sound more familiar than you think. So, if you are a jazz, R&B, or soul music fan, take a listen to his work, and you might just find your next favorite artist.
